3. Desk Load Ratings, Glass Desk Disclaimer & Mechanical Safety

Desk Material & Thickness Compatibility: Heavy-duty monitor mounts are engineered for solid timber, particleboard, or steel desks with thicknesses typically between 10mm and 80mm. Glass Desk Warning: C-clamps and grommet mounts must NEVER be clamped directly onto tempered glass, hollow honeycomb paper-core tabletops (such as unreinforced honeycomb cardboard desks), or beveled edge desks without proper reinforcement plates. Pneumatic Gas-Spring Tension: Monitor arms are shipped under high spring tension; do not unstrap or adjust tension screws without holding the arm securely as directed in the safety manual. Qyxo Tech is not liable for tabletop cracking, shattered glass surfaces, dropped monitors resulting from exceeding stated weight capacities, or improper torque calibration.
